In 1937, Lala Madan Lal Luthra, the visionary founder of Sargodha Mishthan Bhandar, created the iconic sweet Patisa in the city of Sargodha (now in Pakistan). His unique and closely guarded recipe quickly gained fame for its unmatched flavor and texture.

Following the partition, the Luthra family relocated to Saharanpur, where they continued the legacy of Sargodha Mishthan Bhandar. To this day, the original Patisa is lovingly prepared using Lala Madan Lal Luthra’s secret recipe, preserved and perfected across generations.
